Police have made public the names of five accused that were involved in gang raping of 21 years old Maya BK of Gauriganga Municipality-11. The accused are 30 years old Ganesh Baduwal of Gauriganga Municipality-11, 27 years old Manoj Bogati, 21 years old Suraj Chaudhary, 20 years old Bhuwan Khati and 19 years old Tapendra Bogati. Their names were made public on July 6 by the police in a press meeting.
The dead body of the victim was recovered near the jungle on June 29 three days after she went missing, On a same day, complaint of killing after rape was registered at District Police Office of Kailali.
The accused have accepted that she was killed after a gang rape according to SP Binod Chaudhary of DPO.
