The Accountability Watch Committee (AWC) has drawn the attention of government recommendation on giving amnesty to former Maoist leader Bal Krishna Basnet who is doing his jail term after he was convicted of murdering Ujjan Kumar Shrestha.
The committee while releasing a press statement has said that its attention has been drawn on the news of giving amnesty to him. The committee has also condemned the re recommendation by the government on giving amnesty to Dhungel.
