The victim’s family of 30 years old woman lodged complaint at Area Police Office of Lahan on April 16 against 35 years old Modri Mandal of Sakhuwannakarkatti Rural Municipality-4 on charge of attempting to rape.
According to the victim’s family, the accused had attempted to rape woman on the night of April 14 and complaint against him was lodged at Area Police Office of Lahan. She underwent a health checkup at Ram Kumar Uma Prasad Hospital on April 16. The accused is at large and search is undergoing according to DSP Ganesh Chand of Area Police Office.
