A complaint against 60 years old Bhim Bahadur Yongpaden and his 27 years old son Subash Yongoaden has been lodged at District Police Office on April 1 on charge of beating ward chairman Tirtha Raj Timsina of Hilihang Rural Municipality to death.
Inspector Bigyan Basnet said that the victim’s family has lodged complaint at DPO. There was a dispute between the both parties regarding the expansion of road at Hilihang-7, Jharapa.
Both accused have been arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s party.
Meanwhile, Hilihang Rural municipality office has released a press statement and demanded for the action against the accused.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at district hospital on March 31.
