Police said that 50 years old Aisara Rai of Halesi Tuwangchol Municipality-10 was attacked by the bamboo stick and killed by her husband Makardwoj Rai,60 on March 26. The victim was living in her parental home at Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-3.
DSP Lok Darshan Thapa of District Police Office said that the husband attacked her wife over a normal domestic dispute on March 26. She succumbed the injury.
The accused was immediately arrested after the incident for the investigation according to the police. The postmortem of the body was conducted at District Hospital of Diktel.
