The District Hospital of Humla is facing difficulties on operating seriously ill patients due to the lack of oxygen cylinders.
The problem was raised after the only means of transportation, airplane denied to carry oxygen cylinder according to district public health office. Hospital however said that there has been a crisis of oxygen cylinder since the establishment of the hospital.
Orthopedic Dr Mangal Rawal of the hospital said that it is very sad that the hospital do not have oxygen cylinder. He added that it is creating difficulties on treating patients.
Patients with serious illness need oxygen and hospital do not have one which is very serious issue according to Dr Nabin Rokaya.
