The victims in Rolpa have said that the wound of 10 years long conflict is still giving them pain even after the signing of Comprehensive Peace Accord between the government and former Maoist combatant 11 years ago.
The peace has prevailed in Rolpa after the peace agreement however the victim complained of not getting any justice on incident of severe human rights violation and atrocities.
Conflict victim Meghmali Buda of Rolpa Municipality-6 complained that the state has attempted to settle the case just by giving one million as a relief. He added that he still has hope of getting justice.
The CPA has directed to provide justice to the conflict victims within six months by forming TRC.
But, the commission was formed only after eight years and it could not do any other work despite of receiving complaints.
