The health ministry has operated health camps in flood affected areas to avoid possible epidemic.
Chief District Officer Babu Ram Shrestha said that in support from local administration, health organizations and NGOs, the ministry has operated health camps in 26 places of six districts with a team of 400 health professionals.
The camp will provide health services along with awareness to protect from epidemic.
If patients with serious illness was found, they will be referred to BP Hospital in Dharan, Janakpur and other medical colleges.
The team of medical professionals said that patients with diarrhoea and typhoid were found in flood affected area.
