A 25-year-old man, Dil Kumar Karki a resident of Molung Rural Municipality-7 was arrested by police on the charges of commission of offence of rape of an 18-year-old girl.
The accused was found hiding and was arrested from Syafrubeshi, Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-4, Rasuwa District. Accused was arrested on charges of commission of rape on April 12 2026.
Shekhar Kumar Sah, Inspector at District Police Office said on the basis of special information accused was arrested on July 17 2026 for the purpose of investigation.
The victim’s side lodged a complaint against the accused at District Police Office on April 22 2026. The complaint stated the accused committed the offence on April12 2026.
Inspector Sah informed the accused was absconding after the complaint was lodged. The accused has been arrested in Rasuwa, preparations for bringing the accused to the district is underway.
The victim’s medical examination was completed at the District Hospital on April 22 2026.
