Police have arrested 38 years old husband Tek Bahadur Kami on July 11 on charge of murdering 28 years old wife Bayansara Kami of Puthauttaraganga Village council-7.
He was arrested on charge of murdering her with a sharp weapon while sleeping on the night of July 10 according to Inspector Thaman Ramjali of DPO Rukum.
Deceased Bayansari was recently elected as a woman ward member in second phase of local level election from Nepali Congress.
The incident is under investigation according to police. The body sustained serious and deep cut and is sent to Rukum for postmortem.
