The District security committee of Terhathum has tagged 13 polling stations of the district as very sensitive.
Two polling stations of Chathar Village council and Laligurans Municipality, three of Menchyayam village council and three each polling stations of Phedap and Atharai village council are determined as very sensitive regarding the security according to District Administration Office.
There are 85 polling centres in 57 places in the district. The sensitiveness of the polling centres and stations are categorized based on the security of the area.
In sensitive places, security will be tightened according to CDO Ashman Tamang. In Terhathum district, there are 60,721 voters in two municipality and four village council.
