An inter-dialogue program on determining Human Rights primary sector has been held in Tansen of Palpa organized by NHRC sub-regional office of Butwal and in coordination of INSEC.
Speaking at the program, CDO Babu Ram Gautam said that the human rights situation of the district is satisfactory. He added that the governmental bodies are very committed on promoting human rights.
Local Development officer Ram Prasad Pandey said that governmental and non-governmental organization can play a vital role on promoting human rights.
In the occasion, human rights officer Chandra Kanta Chapagain of NHRC Butwal said that the commission is set to determine priorities of Human Rights and investigation will be made as per the priority.
Officer Mahendra Subedi of District Education Office said that there are still ill-practice like child marriage in remote parts of Palpa and school level child rights education has been started for the solution.
