The Area Administration Office established at Serukot on September targeting to provide service for seven VDCs of Seru area have not employees to work since three months affecting the beneficiaries.
The people of Jima, Photu, Narthapu, Bhiyi, Dhainakot, Kalai and Rara VDC are compelled to walk two days to reach headquarter for receiving citizenship since the staffs at Area Administration Office are not present from January 29- complained Rup Singh Luhar of Jima VDC-9.
The office has 7 positions available including one chief of Area Administration Office, two Nayab Subba, one computer operator, one Co accountant and two administration assistant however only two administration assistant are present in the office.
According to Acting Chief District Officer Mohan KC, Chief of Area Administration Office has been transferred to Palpa on duty, Subba has been to Kathmandu for treatment as he sustained injury on his way to office few months ago. The absence of chief to sign in the citizenship certificate one Nayab Subba, one computer operator and co accountant has been shifted to district from January 29 which why the Area Administration Office have no employees.
