Arson and Vandalism Damaged 189 Vehicles in Dang

During the Gen-Z protest in Dang, the protesters damaged and set fire to a total of 189 vehicles, including 136 government-owned vehicles. Protesters reportedly vandalized vehicles belonging to government offices, employees, and citizens. According to the Dang District Administration Office, the majority of the damage involved 136 government vehicles and 53 private vehicles.

During the Gen-Z protest in Dang, demonstrators damaged 136 government vehicles, including 33 light four-wheelers, 84 motorcycles, 10 bicycles, 3 tippers, 1 tractor, 1 excavator, 1 trailer, 1 loader, 1 tanker, and 1 fire engine. They also vandalized 53 private vehicles, including 2 four-wheelers, 47 motorcycles, 3 scooters, and 1 auto.
The Assistant Chief District Officer, Yagyabahadur Budha, reported that among the vehicles damaged during the arson and vandalism in Dang, 40 four-wheeled vehicles were completely destroyed, while 4 suffered partial damage. Additionally, one three-wheeler was completely destroyed, and 134 two-wheeled vehicles were fully damaged.

Likewise, ten bicycles were also completely destroyed. According to Budha, a total of 189 vehicles were damaged in Dang. The destruction of government vehicles has disrupted even essential services. In Tulshipur Sub-Metropolitan City, the fire brigade and water tanker were completely burned, while tippers, excavators, loaders, and trailers of the District Mechanical Office were also damaged creating problems for road maintenance during the rainy season.
