Police arrested Jit Satyadatt, 45, of India who had been operating a medical shop in Kota, Ghodaghodi Municipality–12, on 20 August 2025, on charges of raping a 31-year-old woman. Victim informed INSEC that the accused allegedly raped her inside the medical shop on 19 August, under the pretext of treatment.Subsequently, she filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Sukhad, on 20 August.
Police arrested the accused and extended his custody for five days for further investigation, informed DSP Dirgha Bahadur Saud of the Area Police Office, Sukhad.
The health examination of the victim was done on 20 August at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi.
