A complaint has been filed against Pramod Mandal,29 of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City–21, Kurtha, at the Kurtha Police Post on July 24 accusing him of raping a 25-year-old woman on July 23. Assistant Sub-Inspector Dhirendra Chaudhary of the Kurtha Police Post stated that the accused is absconding and they are searching for him.
The health examination of the victim was done on July 24 at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham.
