Police arrested Khumbahadur Chhetri, 52, of Rampur, Rampur Municipality–7, on July 18 for the charge of raping a 23-year-old woman. According to Inspector Kamal Pradhan of the District Police Office, Palpa, the aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on July 18, stating that the accused had raped the woman on March 15.
The health examination of the victim was done at the Palpa Hospital on July 18.
