Police arrested Rajin Sunuwar,32, of Bhadaha on the charge of attacking 27-year-old Elisa Sunuwar of Gupeshwar, Umakunda Rural Municipality-6, with a khukuri on the evening of July 16. He is reported to be the cousin of the injured. According to Inspector Kaushal Neupane, Sunuwar who absconded after the attack, was arrested on July 17 and brought to the District Police Office in Manthali.
Inspector Neupane further informed that the injured woman was airlifted to Kathmandu on the morning of July 17 for treatment and admitted to KMC Hospital.
