Police arrested Bishal Tamang, 21, of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-4 on July 10 for charges of raping a 16-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Muglin, on July 11.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Bharatpur Hospital on July 11.
