Police arrested Chandrabahadur Budhathoki,32, of Tata Gaun, Chaurjahari Municipality-3, Rukum West on July 1 for the charges of killing his 30-year-old Devika Budhathoki on the night of July 1. The accused had killed his wife by attacking her with a khukuri. A team led by Dipendra Rawat from the Area Police Office, Chaurjahari, took the accused into custody.
Locals said the husband and wife often had disputes. The reason for the killing has not come out yet. Police took the body to the District Hospital in Salle for post-mortem and said they are investigating the incident.
