A complaint has been filed against Ramnath Yadav, 24, of Dhanushadham Municipality-1, Govindapur, on June 10. The aggrieved party registered the complaint at the Area Police Office, Dhanushadham accusing him of raping a 17-year-old girl. The incident took place on June 8 while the girl was sleeping alone in the home yard due to extreme heat.
The health examination of the victim was done at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham, on June 9.
Inspector Ganesh Khanal informed that the accused has been absconding since the incident and the search is ongoing.
