Police arrested Manish Paswan, 25, of Birgunj Metropolitan City-15 on May 26 for raping a 16-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Parsa against the accused on May 26 alleging that he raped the girl when she was home alone on the same day. The accused got arrested on May 26 based on the same complaint, and the investigation is ongoing after the Court extended the date for seven days as per DSP Kishor Lamsal.
The health examination of the victim was done on May 26 at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj.
