Police arrested Krishna Lingden,42, on May 25 for killing his wife Samjhana Bhattarai, 40 of Yangbarak Rural Municipality-5, Dahal gaun. It is reported that Lingden had brutally beaten his wife on May 13 and injured her during a domestic dispute. Inspector Rupesh Tamang of the District Police Office stated that the accused was arrested for investigation after Samjhana died during treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, Ghopa, on May 25.
The post-mortem of the body was done at the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences on May 25.
