Police arrested Angalal Jaisi, 18, of Chankheli Rural Municiplality-2, Bhattebeda on May 20 for raping a 14-year-old girl. Inspector Junga Bahadur Singh of the District Police Office informed INSEC that the aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on May 19, stating that the accused raped the victim on May 17 at Gadghat in Chankheli Rural Municipality-3, when she had gone to grind grain.
The health examination of the victim was done at the District Hospital on May 20.
