Police arrested Sarke Limbu,45, also known as Yogendraof Chhathar Rural Municipality-5 on May 19 for the charge of raping a 59-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Basantapur on May 18 alleging that the accused raped the woman on the same day. Based on the complaint, the accused was arrested for investigation, according to Inspector Roshan Kamati of the District Police Office. The health examination of the victim was done at the District Hospital on May 18.
