Police arrested Jiwan Sagar Kandangwa of Aathrai Rural Municipality-7 on May 19 for raping a 13-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on May 18 alleging that he raped the girl on May 17. Inspector Roshan Kamati of the District Police Office stated that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the complaint filed by the aggrieved party.
The health examination of the girl was done at the District Hospital on May 18.
