Police arrested Raju Nepali, 43, of Palungtar Municipality-8 on April 23 for raping a 33-year-old woman with intellectual disability. The aggrieved party had filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on April 23 alleging that the woman was raped on April 22 when the victim had gone to jungle. The investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
The health examination of the victim was done on April 23 at the District Hospital Gorkha.
