Nawalpur District Court sentenced Kiran Ghimire, 37, of Gochhada, Kawasoti Municipality-17, Nawalparasi East, originally from Baiteshwar Rural Municipality-7, Dolakha to three months in prison for sexually abusing a seven-year-old girl. The bench of Judge Kamal Prasad Gyawali sentenced the accused to three months in prison, along with a fine of Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 40,000 as compensation to the victim, on February 20.
Ghimire was arrested on October 20 on charges of sexually abusing the minor on the same day.
