Dipesh Kumar Yadav, 27, from Barahathawa Municipality-6, has been accused of raping a 16-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against him at the Barahathawa Area Police Office on March 6, 2025. As per the complaint, the accused allegedly lured the victim to his grocery store on February 23, 2025, under the pretext of giving her something, and then raped her.
The accused is currently absconding, and search is underway, according to DSP Muktinath Sapkota of the Area Police Office, Barhathwa. The health examination of the minor was conducted at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa, on 7 March 2025
