Narendra Bohora, 27, from Thhehe, Simkot Rural Municipality-2, has lived in a shed for the past four years due to his poor economic condition. He suffers from vision impairment and is unable to walk, forcing him to endure this difficult situation.
The victim expressed that his family did not show much interest in treating him. Ram Bahadur, Narendra’s brother, explained that they had to keep him in the shed since he was unable to walk due to his blindness and body tremors caused by scurvy. Ram Bahadur stated that although they used to live together in their old house, after constructing a new home, they had to keep their sick brother in the shed because he could not climb the stairs in the new house. Additionally, they could not take him outside the district for further treatment due to financial constraints. Family members prepare food and bring it to him in the shed. As Narendra cannot speak, he has no choice but to relieve himself in the shed.
Ram Bahadur said that his brother’s condition is getting worse every day as no one has helped him, even though he has asked various authorities and individuals for financial support for further treatment.
