Police arrested 62-year-old Tikaram Ranabhat from Madi Municipality-7 on October 12, for the charge of killing his 71-year-old sister-in-law Bishnumaya Ranabhat of Devendrapur, Madi Municipality-7, by attacking her with a sickle.
Bishnumaya was found dead on October 7 at the cliff of Paruwi Community Forest. During the investigation, the accused confessed his crime as per the Information Officer Bheshraj Rijal of the District Police Office. The post-mortem was conducted at Bharatpur Hospital on October 7.
