Police arrested 28-year-old Lilaraj Teli, of Kothimai Rural Municipality-1 currently living in Siddharthanagar Municipality-1, Belahiya on 11 September for the charge of Abducting and raping a 12-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the district police office on September 11, alleging that the accused abducted the victim from August 20 to September 6 and raped her. DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta of the District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested, and further investigations are underway based on the victim’s complaint.
The health examination of the victim was done on 11 September at the Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
