Police arrested 21-year-old Prakash Mahar of Dasharathchand Municipality-6 Sera on September 2 for the charge of raping a 29-year-old woman on August 30.
Inspector Balram Pandey of District Police Office, Baitadi said that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint filed by the victim on 31 August, and investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on 1 September at the District Hospital, Baitadi.
