Police arrested 28-year-old Sanjay Yadav of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality-1 Sokhuya on 28 August 2024 for repeatedly harassing and mentally torturing a 33-year-old woman through social media.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on August 28, alleging that the accused committed character assassination by sharing various edited photos of the victim on social media. Hari Bahadur Oli, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint, and a further investigation is underway.
