Police arrested 27-year-old Narayan Chaudhary of Basgadhi Municipality-4 on on August 15 for the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Motipur on August 15 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on August 14. DSP Tulsiram Aryal of the District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
The medical examination of the victim was done on 15 August at Bardiya District Hospital, Gulariya.
