A complaint was filed at the District Police Office on 31 July against 51-year-old Padam Kandangwa of Atharai Rural Municipality-6 for the charge of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.
Inspector Prahalad Khadka stated that the accused allegedly subjected the victim to sexual abuse on 31 July. He added that a search for the absconding accused began immediately after the complaint was filed by the aggrieved party.
The health examination of the victim was done at the district hospital on 31 July.
