Khilkumari Sharma, a 55-year-old resident of Baglung Municipality-7 Titaure, lost her life when a landslide caused her house to collapse. The incident occurred during the night, as confirmed by Ward Chairperson Meghanath Gaire.
Neighbors discovered the house had collapsed due to the landslide the following morning and promptly alerted public representatives and the police. Chairperson Gaire noted that rescue efforts were challenging because the overnight rain had damaged the roads in several areas.
With the assistance of the police team from Panchkot Police Station and local residents, the victim’s body was eventually recovered from the landslide debris.
