Police arrested 24-year-old Sandhya Chudal of Birtamod Municipality-8, Jhapa, Garamani and currently residing in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-11 on July 7 for the charge of human trafficking.
DSP Gyanendra Bahadur Basnet of the District Police Office reported that the accused had been arrested for investigation into allegations of forcing women and girls to work in various song and dance bars in Biratnagar.
A complaint was filed at the District Police Office on July 5 alleging that the victims were forced to involve themselves in sexual activities.
