Birendra Kumar Yadav, a 33-year-old teacher at Janata Secondary School in Barahathawa Municipality-8, filed a complaint at the Area Police Office on July 2, accusing 36-year-old Mahendra Chaudhary of the same ward of beating him.
The accused is reported to be the Secretary of a local youth club. It is alleged that Chaudhary went to Janata Secondary School for monitoring on June 25 to check if the class was operating well and beat Yadav in front of the students, accusing him of being late for school.
Initially, the victim was treated from June 26 to June 28 at a Health Center in Barahathawa and he received further treatment at the provincial hospital in Malangwa on June 30.
Inspector Suman Baniya of the Area Police Office Barahathawa informed that the accused is currently absconding.
