Police arrested 44-year-old Dinesh Upreti, a Teacher from Manahari Rural Municipality-3 on 1 July for the charge of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party has alleged that the teacher sexually abused the girl studying in grade nine at Mahendra Jyoti Secondary School on 1 July.
Inspector Prakash Shah of the District Police Office Makwanpur reported that the accused was arrested on the same day. Subsequently, the court extended the investigation deadline by seven days on July 2.
