A complaint was filed against 35-year-old Nuhasan Mikarani at the Malangwa Police Office on 25 June alleging that he attempted to traffic a 14-year-old boy.
DSP Dipak Shrestha of District Police Office Malangwa informed that the accused lured the victim with promises of employment and was attempting to take him to Patna, Bihar on 18 June. Subsequently, when the team of Area Police Office Simara tried to question the accused, he left the child and absconded.
DSP Shrestha added that the child was rescued and handed over to the family, and the search for the accused is going on.
