Subaina Devi Yadav, 43 and her daughter Ramita Yadav, 22, of of Malangwa Municipality-7 Musaili filed a complaint at District Police Office Malagwa on 24 May alleging that they were beaten up by 37-year-old Bharosi Yadav and 24-year-old Dilip Kumar Yadav of the same place accusing them of practicing witchcraft. They alleged that the accused verbally abused and also beat them up on 15 May.
Additionally, the accused party even pressured them to make a settlement within the ward office of Malangwa Municipality-7 on 25 May. The victims initially received medical treatment from May 16 to May 19 at the Provincial Hospital, Malangwa,and they were re-examined on May 24.
Inspector Sabin Karki of the District Police Office informed that they will investigate the incident and take further action according to the law.
