The aggrieved party filed a complaint against 21-year-old Dipak Chauhan of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality-5 Gogouli at the District Police Office on February 25 alleging that he raped a 17-year-old girl on January 10.
DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta of the District Police Office said that the accused is currently absconding and the investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on February 23 at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
