Five individuals from the Koshi Province have registered their nomination for the National Assembly elections on January 8. Hembahadur Budathoki, the Assistant Election Officer informed that five people registered their nomination for two seats in the Office of Election Officer, Biratnagar on January 8 for the National Assembly elections to be held on January 25.
Krishna Prasad Sitaula from Nepali Congress, Champadevi Karki from CPN Maoist Center on behalf of women registered their nomination for the seats. On the other hand, Parshuram Adhikari from Bhojpur and Rukmini Koirala from Sunsari have registered their nomination from CPN-UML. Similarly, the Office of Election Officer informed that Udab Poudel of Biratnagar has registered his nomination from RPP. There are a total of 367 voters in Koshi for the National Assembly, including 274 local level MPs and 93 provincial MPs.
