The Area Police Office in Kanchanrup registered a complaint against a 27-year-old man on December 25 under the charge of raping his 27-year-old sister-in-law.
The victim alleges that the accused entered her room while she was sleeping on December 19 and raped her. After the victim filed a complaint at the local police office Kanchanrup on December 21, the victim underwent a medical examination at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajbiraj on the same day.
The accused, who had recently returned home from foreign employment, is currently absconding.
