The aggrieved party filed a complaint against 19-year-old Pawan Mahara of Sirha Municipality-11 at the District Police Office, Siraha on December 20 alleging that he raped a 17-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party alleged that the accused had raped the girl on December 18, so she lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Siraha demanding action. The health examination of the girl was done on December 20 at Siraha Provincial Hospital.
DSP Rabindraraj Pandey of the District Police Office, Siraha informed that the search for the absconding accused is currently underway.
