A complaint has been lodged against 36-year-old Sarif Miya and his 30-year-old wife, Kulsum Khatun, residents of Surunga Municipality-9, Tikulia, on allegations related to a rape case involving a 38-year-old woman.
The Area Police Office, Kadarbona, reported that, according to the complaint, the accused embezzled Rs 600,000 and sexually assaulted the victim in Yusuf Miya’s garden.
The victim filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Kadarbona on December 11. The health examination of the victim was done on December 11.The accused are currently absconding. In addition, the Saptari District Court has informed that an arrest warrant has been issued against the accused.
