INSEC Nepalgunj has extended its support to 27-year-old Hina Ansari from Nepalgunj Sub-municipality-5. On October 18, financial assistance was provided to Hina to facilitate her ongoing legal journey as a victim of domestic violence.
Hina Ansari had been facing domestic violence resulted due dowry dispute. Her suffering included threats and physical abuse from her husband, Anis Ahmed Jolah, which eventually led to a case being filed in Banke District Court on March 16. The case was filed to hold her husband accountable for her expenses.
Responding to Hina’s plea for assistance, INSEC Nepalgunj disbursed 8000 rupees to the victim, taking into account her challenging financial situation. This financial aid will assist Hina in covering the costs associated with application fees, document photocopying, and transportation essential for her legal proceedings.
INSEC’s Lumbini Provincial Coordinator, Bhola Mahat, emphasized that the financial support was offered to alleviate the burden of these expenses and facilitate access to justice for victims like Hina Ansari.
