Police arrested 58-year-old Ramdarat Lodh, of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality-6, Bhagatpur, from his residence on October 16 2023, on the charge of sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on October 16, alleging that the accused tried to rape the victim by tempting her with sweets on October 3.
DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta of the District Police Office informed that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint and action is being taken.
The health examination of the victim was done at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa on October 16.
