Megh Bahadur Chepang, 45 years old, from Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-3, has been arrested by the police on August 5 2023, on charges of raping a seven-year-old girl.
DSP Vijayraj Pandit from the District Police shared that a complaint was lodged by the victim on July 29 at the Mugling local police office, alleging that the accused had sexually assaulted the girl in the community forest of Dhusa, Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-3, on the afternoon of July 13.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at Bharatpur Hospital on the August 6.
